As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Tomahawk, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced automotive location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with professional customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license and compliance with AU Driver Policy Requirements, where you will communicate clearly, document observations, and work as part of a team that values integrity, agility, and innovation.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
CPR/First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Must be comfortable using computers or tablets

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive facility.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including dispatching the appropriate notifications and documenting actions taken.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production and warehouse areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards.
Control access through designated entry points by checking identification and/or visitor credentials, monitoring deliveries, and directing visitors to approved locations.
Complete detailed reports on patrols, incidents, and irregular activity, and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision as required.
