As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Tomahawk, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced automotive location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with professional customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license and compliance with AU Driver Policy Requirements, where you will communicate clearly, document observations, and work as part of a team that values integrity, agility, and innovation.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
  • Must be comfortable using computers or tablets

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive facility.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including dispatching the appropriate notifications and documenting actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production and warehouse areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards.
  • Control access through designated entry points by checking identification and/or visitor credentials, monitoring deliveries, and directing visitors to approved locations.
  • Complete detailed reports on patrols, incidents, and irregular activity, and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision as required.
