As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout manufacturing, industrial, and retail locations. This is a driving post, so you will utilize your valid driver's license to monitor multiple areas, respond to incidents, and provide outstanding customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe and report any irregularities.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas throughout the location to help to deter unwanted activity and to provide a visible Allied Universal presence.
- Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual circumstances to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist visitors, employees, and/or customers as needed, providing directions and information while maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor.
- Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal team members to help to deter security-related risks and support daily operations in manufacturing, industrial, and retail environments.
