Job Description As a Security Officer - Financial Patrol in Elk Grove, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Possession of a state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution's location and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support a secure environment for clients and staff.
Document observations and incidents according to Allied Universal procedures and communicate relevant information to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control procedures and verify identification when required.
Remain alert to changes in the environment and promptly report any unusual or suspicious activity.
