About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Specialist in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to stay active, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations with agility, reliability, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, retail location policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor foot traffic, high-value merchandise areas, and/or access points for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and other security-related issues, reporting observations according to site procedures.
• Support store operations during opening, closing, and busy business periods by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with customer questions, and/or helping address security-related incidents.
