As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. This role primarily involves driving to conduct routine patrols, remaining visible to support a secure environment, and interacting with the public. Requirements

This is primarily a driving post. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Customer service experience preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site-specific policies.
Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management as needed.
