As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a government location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter potential security-related incidents. This role involves interacting with a variety of individuals, delivering outstanding customer service, and maintaining clear communication to address any security-related concerns. As this is a driving post, you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
Must possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential concerns.
Document and report security-related observations, incidents, and/or unusual situations according to company and client protocols.
Assist employees, visitors, and contractors with security-related inquiries and access control procedures.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and local authorities as required to address incidents or emergencies at the location.
Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay informed of site-specific protocols and security-related procedures.
