You will conduct routine patrols across assigned areas, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor interactions with strong customer service. You will document observations and communicate clearly with site contacts and your team, bringing agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 or more years of security experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting details and escalating to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points, noting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations.
• Support access control in a tech-focused office location by verifying credentials, assisting with visitor check-in and badging, and helping to maintain orderly entry and exit procedures.
• Monitor security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and communication tools, and complete daily activity logs and incident reports per post orders.
