You will complete routine vehicle and foot patrols of buildings, garages, and amenities, remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to calls for service with clear communication and strong customer service. Bring agility, reliability, and integrity as you document activity and work with your team to support residents, guests, and staff.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Security Experience ‐ 6+ Months.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by following site-specific procedures, access control guidelines, and other security-related policies, and when appropriate, supporting emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of apartment community grounds, building exteriors, parking areas, garages, amenities, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance concerns or policy violations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, noise complaints, trespassing concerns, and property damage reports, and request additional support when needed.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, gates, and/or intercoms as assigned, document observations, and notify property management and/or emergency services based on established protocols.
  • Complete detailed shift logs and incident reports, communicate pass-down information to oncoming personnel, and coordinate with property staff to support a consistent security-related presence throughout the location.
