Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will support access points, respond to calls for assistance, and deliver strong customer service while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity.

Requirements

  • A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial processing location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter points; note irregular conditions and report findings per post orders.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, deliveries, and contractors; direct visitors to designated check-in locations and communicate site rules as needed.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and service calls in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate notifications to site contacts and/or public responders when required.
  • Complete shift logs and incident reports, document patrol activity and observed conditions, and communicate status updates during shift briefings and post turnovers.
