As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols across a residential and property management location, staying highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for service, document observations, and communicate clearly with residents, staff, and visitors while delivering a customer-first experience. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, supported by a caring, integrity-led team.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and observe property activity, reporting maintenance issues, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, and communicate relevant updates during shift transitions.
