About The Position

As a Security Officer - Plant Patrol Driver in Sheboygan Falls, WI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, requiring you to navigate the premises and respond promptly to situations as they arise. Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities as required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any unusual conditions, hazards, or potential security-related risks found during patrols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents and daily activities.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of all patrols, incidents, and observations in accordance with site requirements.
  • Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as necessary.
