About The Position

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver, Clearance Required in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so you may move between checkpoints and respond to calls for service across the site. Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 2+ years of security-related experience.
  • Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production and office areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and controlled areas by observing personnel and visitor movement, verifying authorization as directed by post orders, and reporting discrepancies to site leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing clear communication and timely escalation to the appropriate contacts.
  • Complete routine documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoff notes, and communicate relevant observations to supervisors and/or client representatives.
