About The Position
As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Campus in Richmond, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Security-related experience of 2+ years is required.
- Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, service calls, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and report access control concerns, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations in accordance with site protocols.
- Support day-to-day operations by completing routine reports, maintaining awareness of changing site conditions, and communicating clearly with site personnel, emergency responders, and/or Allied Universal team members.
