Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic educational location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support students, staff, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within an educational location.
Respond to incidents, campus-related concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with staff, students, visitors, and local responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and observe campus activity to help to deter trespassing, policy violations, and/or disruptions, documenting incidents according to site protocols.
Support daily operations by assisting with directions, visitor questions, and/or security-related reports while maintaining awareness of changing conditions across the location.
