You will complete routine patrols, respond to site needs, and deliver strong customer service and communication while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
A guard card/license is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and store personnel by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with management and/or local responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, stockroom corridors, and exterior perimeter areas, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor for suspicious behavior, loitering, and/or unusual activity, and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and operational disruptions to the appropriate contact.
Support retail loss prevention efforts by observing customer and visitor activity, assisting with crowd flow during busy periods, and following post orders related to opening, closing, and after-hours procedures.
