As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Associate in Rockford, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or public agency personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and observe site activity, reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns according to post instructions.
Support daily operations by assisting with directions, answering routine questions, and reinforcing site rules and visitor protocols in a professional manner.
