As a Security Officer Patrol Coverage Specialist in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring reliability, agility, teamwork, and integrity to every shift while helping create a welcoming environment.

Requirements

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, which is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to property management and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, corridors, parking areas, loading zones, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions requiring attention.
  • Monitor access points, observe site activity, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in accordance with location procedures.
  • Support day-to-day property operations by assisting with visitor directions, reporting hazards or facility issues, and helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptions at the location.
