About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Coordinator in Warren, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and remain a visible presence throughout the site. Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures and supporting access control activities at the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and document deliveries, visitors, and/or operational issues in accordance with location policies.
  • Support emergency response activities, report maintenance or hazard observations, and complete clear, accurate incident and activity reports before the end of each shift.
