As an unarmed Security Officer at a leading tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support access control with professional communication. You will document observations, respond to calls for service, and deliver customer-focused assistance to employees and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate for a tech-focused location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken.
Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or potential hazards to the appropriate contacts per site procedures.
Complete required reports, shift logs, and incident documentation using site systems and/or written formats while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive workplace information.
