Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a hotel and resort setting.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, hallways, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and guest-facing areas, assist with directions and general assistance, and report maintenance, access control, and/or other security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support day-to-day location operations by observing activity, following post orders, and completing required reports related to incidents, patrols, and unusual events.
