About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Associate in CHERRY HILL, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the site. Requirements

• Security-related experience of at least 6 months is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare and pharmaceutical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site protocols, verifying credentials and reporting security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Support a professional environment by providing clear directions, assisting with de-escalation when appropriate, and following Allied Universal standards for reporting, communication, and post duties.
