About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Agent in Clearwater, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control needs. This role is ideal for someone who values customer service, clear communication, and teamwork while bringing agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity to each shift.

Requirements

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner and report details according to site expectations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe resident and visitor traffic to help to deter trespassing, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Communicate with property management, residents, and/or local responders as needed regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related matters.
