About The Position

Requirements

  • A guard card or security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors, staff, and/or patients in a professional and courteous manner at the front desk of the healthcare location.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures when appropriate.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and emergency responders as needed.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
  • Support a welcoming and orderly environment by providing customer service while carrying out security-related procedures and policies specific to the healthcare setting.
