Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Hospital vaccines are required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while communicating clearly with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and high-traffic areas, assist with visitor direction and general inquiries, and document security-related incidents in accordance with site procedures.
  • Support a professional environment by observing for potential risks, reporting concerns promptly, and assisting with de-escalation when appropriate.
