Requirements

At least 5 years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including those relevant to a healthcare environment.
Monitor access control at the main entrance, verifying identification and credentials of employees, patients, and/or visitors as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk or lobby area in a calm, problem-solving manner, and coordinate with Allied Universal management and local authorities as appropriate.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of visitor logs, incident reports, and other security-related documentation as required by site procedures.
Assist with emergency response activities, such as providing directions or information during drills or actual emergencies, in accordance with site protocols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, patients, and/or visitors to provide information, answer questions, and address concerns related to security-related matters.
