About The Position

As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact for staff and visitors, helping manage access, greet guests, answer questions, and support a professional lobby environment. You will monitor activity from the desk, document security-related concerns, and communicate clearly with site contacts as needed. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for a front desk location.
  • Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or authorization, issuing visitor credentials as directed, and maintaining visitor and contractor logs.
  • Answer and route incoming calls, provide directions and general assistance, and communicate security-related information to on-site staff using approved communication channels.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services per post orders.
  • Prepare clear, complete reports of daily activities, incidents, and unusual conditions, including documenting key details and following required escalation steps.
