As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document activity, communicate clearly with teams and visitors, and respond to concerns with a customer-first approach. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, dock areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access points and shipping and receiving traffic, verify identification and/or credentials when required, and direct drivers and visitors according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying the appropriate personnel.
  • Complete routine reports and shift logs, communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts, and assist with additional security-related tasks as assigned.
