About The Position

Please read all details prior to applying. This position is located on the Island of Kaua'i (STATE OF HAWAI'I). As a Airport Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol in Lihue, HI, you will safeguard the airport, staff, and it's facilities. Along with driving, patrolling, checking, and securing doors. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal serving a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all visitors and staff. Requirements

Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
21+ years of age
Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
Have at least 1+ years of security experience.
Be 21+ years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Be able to lift up to 20 lbs preferred.
Have CPR and/or First Aid preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to the public and facility personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government aviation location.
Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity and/or hazards.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating with site management and local public agencies as needed.
Monitor access control points, alarms, and/or surveillance systems where assigned, verifying credentials and directing visitors and contractors according to post orders.
Complete required reports such as activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs, and communicate clearly with the Allied Universal team and site representatives.
