As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate office location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine foot patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support tenants and visitors with clear communication, professional reporting, and customer-focused service. Requirements
- Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, employees, visitors and/or contractors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the office property, common areas, parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, responding to questions and directing visitors to appropriate locations as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting site representatives and/or emergency services when required.
- Complete patrol logs and incident reports, document security-related observations, and communicate key information during shift transitions.
