You will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location.
Provide excellent customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and/or contractors with security-related inquiries and procedures.
Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, adapting to the technology and media environment of the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and maintenance needs as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, including evacuation procedures and communication with first responders.
Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal team members to address ongoing security-related needs and improvements.
