You will conduct routine foot patrols, remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific, security-related procedures, access control measures, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office areas, lobbies, common spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting irregular activity and potential property concerns.
  • Monitor security-related systems and equipment such as cameras, alarms, and access control devices, responding to alerts and reporting issues per site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with building evacuations and/or coordinating with on-site management and public responders as needed.
  • Document and report incidents, patrol observations, and service requests in written logs and/or electronic reports, communicating timely updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
