Job Description As a Security Officer - Driving Role Facility Patrol in Indianapolis, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location as an unarmed, driving patrol officer. You will conduct routine patrols across the property, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, assist with access control and visitor interactions, and communicate clearly with site teams. Requirements

Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21+ years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarm activations, disturbances, and medical or fire-related calls, and notify appropriate contacts as required.
Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and/or contractor authorization, and monitoring vehicle and delivery traffic in accordance with site rules.
Complete written and electronic reports such as daily activity logs, incident reports, and shift handovers, and communicate unusual conditions to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
