Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to concerns, and deliver a welcoming customer experience through clear communication. Requirements

  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff and visitors at a food and beverage location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, storage areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor access points and observe movements of people and vehicles, checking credentials and directing deliveries, contractors, and guests according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, injuries, and suspicious activity, and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Complete security-related reports and logs, document incidents, and communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
