As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, report concerns clearly, and deliver outstanding customer service to team members and visitors. Requirements

• Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouses, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards.
• Monitor access control points for employees, contractors, and drivers, verifying identification, managing visitor logs, and directing traffic flow during peak inbound and outbound activity.
• Complete daily reports, incident reports, and shift logs, and report maintenance or operational concerns such as damaged doors, broken lights, or unsecured gates through established channels.
