As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet employees and visitors, communicate clearly, and report concerns with professionalism. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, team members, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as directed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter routes at a technology-focused location to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and security-related systems, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor check-in, deliveries, and badging processes per site policy.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Complete detailed security-related reports, shift logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant updates during post and shift transitions.
