Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will greet patients, visitors, and staff while supporting a welcoming, orderly experience. You will conduct entry screening and access checks, monitor activity, and complete routine rounds as needed to help identify and report security-related concerns. You will communicate clearly with hospital teams, respond to requests, and bring our agile, reliable, innovative, people-first approach to every interaction, guided by teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
Conduct entry screening duties such as greeting and directing visitors, verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, issuing visitor passes, and observing for prohibited items and policy violations.
Monitor access points and waiting areas, helping to maintain orderly flow of foot traffic, communicating expectations, and escalating concerns to appropriate hospital personnel and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services when directed and documenting events according to site-specific protocols.
Complete routine checks of assigned areas as directed, observe and report unusual activity, and support security-related reporting and communication using required logs and/or systems.
