As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with incident reporting and communication to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, office spaces, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
- Monitor access points and visitor, contractor, and delivery activity as assigned, verifying authorization, directing traffic flow, and documenting entries and/or exits per site procedures.
- Observe and report hazards, suspicious behavior, and policy violations, and assist with basic access control, key control, and/or badge administration as directed by post orders.
