As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. This primarily driving post involves conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible, and providing outstanding customer service while upholding our core values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. You will also support store teams and guests through strong customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting of concerns. Requirements

• This is primarily a driving post. A valid driver license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail sales floors, entrance and exit areas, back-of-house spaces, and exterior perimeters such as parking lots and cart areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with medical calls, disturbances, lost children reports, and/or suspicious activity, and escalating to on-site management and/or public services as needed.
• Monitor access points and general activity to help to deter theft-related and/or disruptive behavior, and document observations in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete shift logs, incident reports, and/or required check-ins, and communicate clearly with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related issues.
