Requirements

• Have 1+ years of security experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, lobby areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances and controlled access points, verify authorization as required by post orders, and assist with visitor management and/or contractor sign-in procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and/or public responders as needed.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to site leadership, and support daily operations by maintaining a professional presence.
