Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy government aviation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to requests with clear communication and strong customer service. You will document observations, support access control and incident reporting, and work with a caring, people-first team that values agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government aviation facility.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of terminals, parking areas, access roads, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
  • Monitor access points, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and assist with directing pedestrian and vehicle traffic in accordance with post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site contacts and local public agencies as needed.
  • Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate pertinent information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
