As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech and telecom location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist with access control and badge checks. You will document observations, communicate clearly with onsite teams, and provide customer service that reflects Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity.
Requirements
- Be 21+ years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Guard Card/License is preferred.
- Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
- State, County, or City Issued Security License is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, common areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials and/or visitor permissions, documenting entries and exits per site requirements.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notifications, and completing required reports.
- Use security-related technology such as radios, access control systems, and/or video monitoring to observe activity, communicate status updates, and escalate concerns per post orders.
