As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access points, respond to concerns with calm communication, and provide outstanding customer service to employees and visitors. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer Service Experience - preferred.
  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet - preferred.
  • Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access control issues, disturbances, alarms, and requests for assistance.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and help to maintain orderly vehicle and visitor traffic flow at gates and receiving areas.
  • Complete shift reports and incident documentation, communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and use radios and/or electronic systems to support daily operations.
