As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech and telecom location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, communicate clearly with team members and site contacts, and document observations using computer or tablet tools. Requirements

• At least 6+ months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report concerns through required communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including interior areas and exterior grounds, noting and reporting unusual activity and/or hazards.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor check-in and/or contractor arrivals, and document access activity per site requirements.
• Perform routine observations of cameras, alarms, and/or other monitoring systems as assigned, and complete accurate reports, logs, and shift handoffs.
