As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and support a professional, customer-focused experience for everyone on site. Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 2 plus years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors and personnel by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and post orders within an industrial location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, and exterior perimeters to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems when assigned, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with site emergency response activities as directed.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in written reports and/or electronic logs, and promptly report policy violations, property damage, and/or suspicious behavior.
