As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and report concerns clearly. You will support day-to-day operations with strong customer service and communication while reflecting Allied Universal values of being agile, reliable, and innovative, putting people first, delivering through teamwork, and acting with integrity.

Requirements

  • Have at least 2 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 or more years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the warehouse, yards, trailer rows, and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Monitor access points and shipping and receiving areas, checking credentials and/or shipment documentation as required by post orders, and directing visitors and contractors to proper check-in locations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, disturbances, and/or medical situations per site procedures.
  • Document patrol findings, incidents, and service calls in written logs and/or electronic systems, and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
