As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that can help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control points, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and document observations using site technology. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a food and beverage production and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, fire alarms, equipment-related concerns, and access control issues, and escalate to site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas including production floors, docks, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Support access control by monitoring entrances, checking identification and/or badges, verifying visitor appointments, managing truck driver and vendor check-in, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Complete security-related reports such as incident documentation, patrol logs, and daily activity reports, and communicate observations and policy violations to the appropriate contacts in a timely manner.
