As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to service calls, support tenants and visitors with professional customer service, and document activity using site technology. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A Guard Card/license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas including lobbies, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting and documenting events per site requirements.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing activity, verifying credentials when required, and/or directing visitors to appropriate check-in processes.
• Communicate with property management and/or local responders as needed, complete shift activity reports, and report maintenance or security-related concerns such as damaged doors, lighting outages, and/or unsecured areas.
