As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a high-visibility government aviation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay present to help to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with travelers, staff, and partners, respond to requests, and document observations with professionalism. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all visitors and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government aviation location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken per post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of terminals, parking areas, checkpoints, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and restricted areas, verifying authorization, issuing directions, and reporting suspicious behavior and/or maintenance concerns through the proper channels.
  • Complete detailed shift reports and incident reports, communicate observations to supervisors and/or public agency partners, and assist with crowd management and/or queuing as needed.
