You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor flow. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and provide customer service that reflects our agile, reliable, and innovative approach, delivering through teamwork and always acting with integrity.

Requirements

• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, loading docks, parking areas and the perimeter, noting and reporting unusual conditions.
• Control access for employees, contractors and visitors using site procedures, including verifying credentials, directing traffic flow and assisting with deliveries and pickups as assigned.
• Respond to alarms, incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.
• Complete required reports and logs, including patrol activity, incident details and access-related events, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
