Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a residential community, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with residents and staff, and use a computer and/or tablet for reporting. Requirements

• Applicants must have 6+ months of security experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity during patrols, helping to enforce community rules and directing individuals to the proper check-in and/or assistance locations.
• Complete patrol reports and incident documentation, communicate key updates to site management and/or incoming officers, and report hazards or suspicious activity promptly.
